Kratki opis: Rijen Bijenale fotografije (RPB) je međunarodni savremeni umjetnički događaj, fokusiran na fotografiju kao umjetničku praksu, centriran u Latviji, te baltičkoj i evropskoj regiji kao prioritet. RBP se odvija svake druge godine od aprila do juna u Rigi i drugim regijama u Latviji.

RPB program se sastoji od: Međunarodne grupe i samostalnih izložbi u saradnji sa latvijskim i međunarodnim institucijama; Edukativnih programa koji uključuju simpozijume, kao i predavanja, preglede portfolija i kreativne radionice; Nagrade RBP - "Seeking the latest in photography!", koja je namenjena pretežno umjetnicima sa Baltika; Projekta urbanog okruženja, koji koristi urbanu infrastrukturu kao platformu za umjetnost.
Svake godine se izdaje posebna publikacija RBP-a sa svojim programom i događajima, kao i raznim dopunskim člancima koji razmatraju aktuelna pitanja iz oblasti umjetnosti / fotografije. U međuvremenu, RPB off-year event program je posvećen novim Evropski umjetnici koji rade na tome da steknu priznanje i uspostave svoju poziciju u svijetu umjetnosti na međunarodnom nivou.

Opis: Željeli bismo da učestvujemo u projektima Creative Europe kao partneri. Zainteresovani smo za sva polja povezana sa fotografijom, savremenom umjetnosti, obrazovanjem i kustoskim radom. 

Istorija RFB-a je samo dvije godine, ali naše iskustvo u oblasti umjetnosti i fotografije traje više od 20 godina. Naš tim je organizovao međunarodne festivale, bijenalai izložbe u Latviji, kao i širom Evrope.


Tražimo partnere iz bilo koje države u Evropi.

Područija interesovanja: Muzeji, fotografske galerije i umjetničke galerije, festivali, bijenala, obrazovne institucije (akademija, univerzitet), udruženja umjetnika, časopisi, itd.

Name: Riga Photography Biennial, Latvia

Short description:The Riga Photography Biennial (RPB) is an international contemporary art event, focusing on photography as an art practice, centering on Latvia, the Baltic and European region as its priority. RBP takes place every other year from April until June in Riga and other regions in Latvia.
RPB programme consists of: international group and solo exhibitions in collaboration with Latvian and international institutions; an educational programme including a symposium, as well as lectures, portfolio reviews and creative workshops; the RBP award – ‘Seeking the latest in photography!’, which is aimed predominantly at artists from the Baltic; and an urban environment project, which utilizes urban infrastructure as a platform for art. A dedicated RBP publication is produced every year featuring its programme and events, as well as various supplementary articles that examine current issues in the field of art / photography. Meanwhile the RPB off-year event programme is dedicated to emerging European artists working towards gaining recognition and establishing their position within the international art world.
